ACAVA Hosts: Three Counties Open Residency is a career development opportunity for emerging artists with a connection to Staffordshire, Chesire or Shropshire to be based at our studio community in Stoke-on-Trent.

The residencies offer the use of a studio and professional development opportunities within a thriving community of established artists and creatives at ACAVA Spode Works Studios.

ACAVA Hosts: Three Counties Open Residency is a project run in partnership with Keele University and Three Counties Open Art Exhibition.

How to apply

Every year, three artists-in-residence are selected from the pool of artists who apply to the Three Counties Open exhibition. The next round of applications will take place in the spring of 2024. Check the competition’s website for more details.
