We’re hiring: Community Gardener (freelance)

ACAVA is looking to appoint a freelance Community Gardener to lead our monthly family gardening programme Cultivate Create from March to October 2024, with the potential to extend subject to funding.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of gardening within a community context, ideally with families and vulnerable adults; and who enjoys collaborative practices and projects.

We’re hiring: Studios Technician

ACAVA have been running affordable artist studios and pioneering community arts programmes for 50 years. Our portfolio of 15 studio buildings support a dynamic community of over 400 creative practitioners. We now want to appoint a Studios Technician to work in our studios operations team to support the day-to-day running and maintenance of buildings in London and Essex.

We’re hiring: Digital Communications Assistant

ACAVA is looking to appoint a Digital Communications Assistant, initially on a seven-month contract from March to October 2024, with the possibility of extension after this period (funding dependant).
We are open to this two-day-per-week role being employed on a temporary PAYE or freelance contract. This role will support the Communications team to engage our diverse audiences with digital content across our website, social media platforms and e-newsletters.

We’re hiring: Senior Communications Manager (maternity cover)

ACAVA is looking to appoint a Senior Communications Manager, an interim position which will take on a proportion of the duties of the Head of Communication and Marketing while they are on parental leave from March to October 2024. We are open to this role being two or three days a week, on a temporary PAYE or freelance contract. This role will ensure the oversight and day-to-day running of our communications output, building our brand, growing our audiences and supporting the communications team.
