About the opportunity

The mentees undergo a six-month work placement documenting the Grenfell Memorial Community Mosaic project, alongside professional photographer Zute Lightfoot.

The programme not only enhances the participants’ photography skills but also enlarges their portfolio and offers a real-life understanding of how to shoot engaging photos and manage an ongoing relationship with a client.

After completing the programme, Young Photographers alumni have been offered commissions by other organisations for paid work. ACAVA Shoots facilitates further support and mentoring to our Young Photographers alumni.
