Tinkering Sessions

Since 2019
A group of people working together in a makerspace

Tinkering Sessions at Maxilla Men’s Shed are free, weekly, drop-in sessions held at ACAVA’s Maxilla Walk Studios in North Kensington.

Designed to support creativity, skill-sharing, and social connection, the sessions provide a welcoming and well-equipped workspace for people of all genders and experience levels. Participants are encouraged to work on personal practical or creative projects, develop hobbies, and explore or build on skills such as woodworking, DIY, and craft.

The sessions are informal and participant-led, offering access to tools and equipment in a dedicated community makerspace. They also provide an opportunity to meet others in a relaxed, supportive setting.

No booking or prior experience is required.

Join us for Garden Tinkering Mondays, a new monthly offshoot of our Tinkering Sessions, taking place outdoors in the Maxilla Walk Studios garden.
