Celebrating 30 years of regional creativity
Join us in Stoke-on-Trent for the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. Taking place at Fenton Town Hall, the free exhibition features work by more than 140 artists from Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire, working across painting, sculpture, photography, textiles and more. Visitors can explore a wide range of contemporary art and discover artists from across the region in the exhibition’s largest showcase to date.Visit

The exhibition also includes workshops, creative activities and special late-opening events throughout August.
Supporting artists through the ACAVA Hosts residency
ACAVA is proud to partner with ArtsKeele and local cultural organisations on the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition.
The exhibition is also the route into the ACAVA Hosts: Three Counties Open Residency at Spode Works Studios. Each year, an artist is selected from the exhibiting artists to take part in the residency, receiving studio space, professional development support and time to develop their practice within ACAVA’s creative community in Stoke-on-Trent.
Since 2022, the residency has supported emerging artists at different stages of their careers, helping them develop new work and build connections with other artists and audiences.
