February half-term family art in Wembley

Join us this February half-term for two different types of free family activities at Barham Park. Each event has a different focus and requires a separate booking.
- Family art workshops (Brent families): Three afternoons of discovery, play and creative time together.
- Arts Action Group (Brent & North Kensington families): A special session inviting families to help shape the future of Flourish, with an optional community lunch afterwards.
February half-term family art workshops
Join artist Nicole Morris for three afternoons of hands-on creativity. Across these sessions, families will use role play, collage, and appliqué to explore their world together.
When: Wednesday 18, Thursday 19, and Friday 20 February
Time: 1pm – 3pm daily
Where: ACAVA Barham Park Community Studio, Wembley, HA0 2HB
Who: Brent-based families with primary school-aged children. (Priority is given to HA0 postcodes and families eligible for free school meals).
Flourish Arts Action Group and community lunch
We are hosting our first-ever Arts Action Group to invite families to help design the next stage of our programme. Through games and creative conversation, we want to hear your ideas and experiences.
When: Saturday 21 February
Time:
Arts Action Group activities, 10.30am–12.30pm
Free community lunch (optional), 12.30-2pm
Who: Open to both Brent and North Kensington families.
Please note: This session takes place during Ramadan. Families are welcome to attend all or part of the day, and the lunch is optional. Takeaway lunch boxes will be available for families who wish to enjoy their meal later with Iftar, and a quiet prayer space for parents will be available during the session.

Now in its eighth year, Flourish is an ongoing school holiday art programme for families with primary school-aged children. It offers a space for families to get creative and enjoy learning new skills with professional artists.
