Flourish Arts Action Group & free community lunch

Join ACAVA at Barham Park for our first-ever Flourish Arts Action Group this February half-term, followed by an optional free community lunch.
This relaxed, playful session invites families from Brent and North Kensington to help shape the year ahead for Flourish. Through games, creative activities and shared conversation, we’ll explore what you’d like more of from Flourish and how we can build it together as a community.
The session is facilitated by artists Nicole Morris and Nick Murray.
Please note: This session takes place during Ramadan. Families are welcome to attend all or part of the day, and the lunch is optional. Takeaway lunch boxes will be available for families who wish to enjoy their meal later with Iftar, and a quiet prayer space for parents will be available during the session.
About Flourish
Now in its eighth year, Flourish is an ongoing school holiday art programme for families with primary school-aged children. It offers a space for families to get creative and enjoy learning new skills with professional artists.

ACAVA have been running artist studios and community arts programmes for 50 years. We have 30 artist studios in Barham Park and launched new creative arts programmes for families and young people in autumn 2023.
Who can take part?
This session is open to families from both Brent and North Kensington with primary school-aged children.
No previous experience of Flourish is needed. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
