Art for Wellbeing: Everyday

Blechynden Street Studios
Art for Wellbeing: Everyday (AWE) is a two year long project that provides the opportunity for local people to work with professional artists, and to learn a range of visual arts skills.

Each new skill will be taught over 6 sessions at our Blechynden Street Studios in London W10.

Places are free for participants to attend, all we ask for in return is their feedback. This then helps us create a ‘how to guide’ for the skill learnt, so other local people can try out the same activity at home with their family or friends.

The guides were launched in December 2019, in hard copy and PDF, covering the range of skills taught during the programme including Paper Sculpture, Mosaics, Ink Drawing and Basketry. They can be accessed via a new online portal developed in response to the crisis. Visit #ACAVAathome here.

Our Art for Wellbeing projects are funded by NHS West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG).
