For over 40 years, ACAVA has championed artists and communities by providing affordable studios for professional creatives alongside free workshops, exhibitions and community programmes for children, families and local residents.
In 2025 alone, we supported 400 affordable studios across England, helping artists sustain their practice and develop new work. At the same time, 6,700 people attended our programmes. We delivered 380 workshops, created 47 paid opportunities for creative practitioners, launched four new early-career residencies, and supported 13,500 artists through our Resources for Artists.
Through programmes such as Flourish and Cultivate Create, 170 families accessed free, high-quality creative experiences in welcoming local spaces. As one participant shared:
Your donation, whether a one-off or regular gift, keeps studios affordable for artists and workshops free for families. It ensures that artists can sustain their practice and that access to creativity is not determined by income.
With your support, we can continue building long-term creative infrastructure that benefits both artists and communities.
