Over six sessions, learn how to hammer sheet copper into shape and join individual pieces using soldering, brazing, and riveting techniques.

For the first session, participants will make a copper candlestick from a template provided. This will allow the students to become familiar with hammering, bending and brazing sheet copper. For subsequent sessions, students will apply the skills they have learnt to make small objects to their own design. For students who are more comfortable working to a pre-defined plan, templates for projects that can be adapted to allow each student to make their work unique will be provided.
