Flourish: Belong

Join us this half term to create large-scale artworks that investigate drawing, collage, textiles, projected video and printmaking, all reflecting the theme Belong.

Programme details

The workshops are aimed at families living in North Kensington (London) and will be led by contemporary artist Nicole Morris at ACAVA Maxilla Walk Studios between 25 and 27 October.

Tuesday 25 October, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
Exploring collages, large-scale drawings, and video projections, we will examine the places we belong and the people and objects we live with.

Wednesday 26 October, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
Using printmaking, clay and cutouts we will recreate textures and shapes that belong to our habitats.

Thursday 27 October, 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
We will cook up some visual poetry to think about the journeys we have been on, the food we like to eat and the places we have lived, mapping out stories of ourselves.
