Flourish: Activate – free workshops for families this Easter

Join us this Easter at Maxilla Walk Studios for three creative workshops exploring how art can ‘activate’ our surroundings.

Programme details

Work with artists Amelia Tan, Anna Reading and Asha Fontenelle between 4–6 April to create large-scale artworks and mechanised sculptures and to discover new ways to be creative with less impact on the environment.

Flourish is a creative programme suitable for primary-aged children and their accompanying grown-ups. We prioritise families living in North Kensington, London. Places are limited and booking is essential.

Tuesday 4 April, 10.30am-12.30pm
Anna Reading, Asha Fontenelle and participant families will use printmaking to create art inspired by the qualities of water and the energy it gives.

Wednesday 5 April, 10.30am-12.30pm
Amelia Tan, Anna Reading and participant families will explore the rhythms and routines of a day from morning to evening, and create an installation using drawing and performance.

Thursday 6 April, 10.30am – 12.30pm
Anna Reading and participant families will create kinetic sculptures using clever mechanics such as Cams.
