Free family workshops in Wembley this summer

Join us this August at Barham Park Studios for our Flourish summer sessions, a lively programme of free, hands-on creative workshops for families with primary-aged children.
Led by professional artists, each week offers something different, from clay making to stop-motion animation, nature-inspired textiles and more. Come along and explore new materials, experiment with ideas, and make something special together. No experience needed, just bring your imagination!
All sessions are free and drop-in, but booking is encouraged.

Sessions run three mornings a week, every week in August, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Week 1: Clay-making with artist Emily Motto

Week 2: Animation with artist Nicole Morris

Week 3: Adventures in Photography with artist Jon Rees

Week 4: Game-making and art in Barham Park with artist Nick Murray

About Flourish
Now in its seventh year, Flourish is an ongoing school holiday art programme for families with primary school-aged children. It offers a space for families to get creative and enjoy learning new skills with professional artists. Our core Flourish values are Authenticity, Discovery, Exploration, Play and Wellbeing. ACAVA have been running artist studios and community arts programmes for 50 years. We have 30 artist studios in Barham Park and launched new creative arts programmes for families and young people in autumn 2023.
