Join us for a weekend of open studios at ACAVA Hythe Road Studios and explore creativity in your community.

As part of ACAVA Opens, meet local artists, visit their workspaces, and discover a variety of creative practices, including painting, sculpture, multimedia, and textiles. Whether you’re interested in learning about the creative process, browsing original artwork for sale, or simply enjoying a creative afternoon, there’s something for everyone.

Join ACAVA Curator Georgia Taylor Aguilar for a guided tour of our studios on Sunday 18 May, followed by a Q&A. Discover the significance of our studio community and its rich collective history.

The studios are a short walk from the Grand Union Canal and Wormwood Scrubs Park, so it’s easy to make a day of your visit with time outdoors or exploring the local area.

This event builds on the legacy of ArtWest, a collective of artists, designers and makers based in studio buildings across the Hythe Road industrial estate, including ACAVA, APEX House and the Danny Lane Studio.

About ACAVA Opens

ACAVA Opens is a series of open studio events held across ACAVA’s buildings. These events aim to make creative practices accessible to the public, offering a chance to engage with artists in their working environments.

For over 50 years, ACAVA has been providing affordable studio spaces for artists and delivering a wide range of arts education and community programmes. Events like ACAVA Opens allow us to connect professional artists with the wider public, foster local creative industries, and help build more connected and vibrant communities through the arts.
