Join our free weekly Tinkering Sessions at ACAVA’s Maxilla Men’s Shed in North Kensington.
These informal drop-in sessions are open to people of all genders and offer a welcoming, creative environment to:
- Work on your own practical or creative projects
- Learn and share skills like woodworking, DIY, and craft
- Meet new people in a friendly, supportive setting
- Use tools and equipment in a dedicated community makerspace
No experience necessary, and no booking required, just come along with your ideas!
From Monday 11 August, join Garden Tinkering Mondays, a new monthly offshoot of our Tinkering Sessions, taking place outdoors in the Maxilla Walk Studios garden.

About Maxilla Men’s Shed
Part of ACAVA’s community programmes, the Maxilla Men’s Shed is a creative workshop space in North Kensington. We welcome people of all genders and provide a space to build skills, confidence, and connections through making.
Alongside weekly tinkering sessions, we also host specialist creative workshops, helping our members explore new techniques and build a strong peer support network.
