Join us for a weekend of open studios at The Undercraft Studios and Community Hub and discover a creative community in the heart of Gospel Oak.

As part of Open House Festival 2026, come and explore artists’ studios in a former council estate car park that has been transformed into a creative and community space.

Meet artists and makers, explore working studios and discover artwork in progress alongside finished pieces.

Home to 34 artist studios and 10 community organisations, The Undercraft brings together artists, local groups and residents in a shared creative space.

Visitor Information

Visitors are welcome to drop in throughout the weekend.
Please be aware that this is a working creative building and some studios may contain artworks, tools and materials in active use. The building can be busy during the event, and there may be activity, music and food aromas from neighbouring café Mother Canteen.

About ACAVA Opens

ACAVA Opens is a series of open studio events held across ACAVA’s buildings. These events make creative practices accessible to the public, offering opportunities to meet artists and experience working studio environments.

For over 50 years, ACAVA has provided affordable studio space for artists while delivering a wide range of arts education and community programmes. Through ACAVA Opens, artists share their work with local communities, helping to strengthen connections between artists and the public while supporting London’s creative life.
