Explore open artist studios in a vibrant community under the Westway, and discover 2D and 3D artworks, multimedia, interactive installations, live performances and DJ sets.
At the heart of the weekend is Weaving Connections, a group exhibition featuring Maxilla Walk residents and guest artists, curated and organised by residents Tetiana Hlavatskykh, Kira Zhigalina and Oliver Gingrich. On the evening of Saturday 27 June, the studios will also host live performances, DJ sets and refreshments from 6–11pm.
This event is part of KCAW Fringe, a satellite programme of Kensington and Chelsea Art Week, taking place 25–28 June 2026. Maxilla Studios Open Art Weekend 2026 is supported by the Westway Trust.

About ACAVA Opens
ACAVA Opens is a series of open studio events held across ACAVA’s buildings. These events aim to make creative practices accessible to the public, offering a chance to engage with artists in their working environments.
For over 50 years, ACAVA has been providing affordable studio spaces for artists and delivering a wide range of arts education and community programmes. Events like ACAVA Opens allow us to connect professional artists with the wider public, foster local creative industries, and help build more connected and vibrant communities through the arts.
ACAVA Blechynden Street Studios is also open for open studios on Saturday 27 June, 12–6pm. Both buildings are a short walk from Latimer Road station.
