Cultivate Create continues this autumn and winter with free sessions for families to grow food, explore nature, and get creative together.
From planting seeds to making bonfires and arts and crafts, each session offers hands-on fun and discovery.

Saturday 4 October, 12.30–4.30pm

Tuesday 28 October, 10.45am–3pm (Half-term special: Hair-raising Halloween at Hyde Park Learning Centre)
Saturday 15 November, 12.30–3.30pm (Bonfire special)
Saturday 29 November, 12.30–3.30pm (Pond dipping at Hyde Park Learning Centre)
Saturday 13 December, 12.30–3.30pm (Winter special)

What to expect
- Free play at Maxilla Forest School
- Gardening from seed to harvest – get hands-on in our thriving kitchen garden

Who can join
Spaces are limited, and priority is given to families who:
- Have children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Live in North Kensington
- Live outside the borough but have children attending a North Kensington state primary school
Meet the team
Cultivate Create is led by gardener Maria Cabrera, with support from Dannielle Jemmott. Together, they create a vibrant and nurturing space where families can connect with nature, grow fresh produce, and take part in inspiring community experiences.
Where we are
Cultivate Create takes place at Maxilla Walk Studios, located in North Kensington under the Westway, close to Latimer Road Station. Maxilla Walk Studios are well connected by public transport, with easy access to local bus routes and the Tube.
