Senior Relationship Manager (Studios, Artists and Communities)

West London (Latimer Road Underground)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 p/a plus pension and 22 days holiday

ACAVA (Association for Cultural Advancement through Visual Art) is an arts organisation and educational charity. We provide studios for almost 600 artists in 26 buildings, mostly in London but also Essex and Stoke-on-Trent. We offer continuing professional development opportunities, exhibitions, public art, community learning and participation projects.

This new role of Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring artists receive an excellent standard of service at all times
  • Ensuring buildings and studios are well maintained and fully occupied
  • Identifying new income generation opportunities from the buildings
  • Working with the Senior Programme Manager on the provision of engaging arts programmes which contribute to the CPD of artists
  • Developing strategic partnerships within communities to develop access to and use of the studios
  • Managing and developing a Relationship Manager (to be appointed) and working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
  • Communicating regularly with artists, stakeholders, and partners on our programmes of work

You need to:

  • Be a creative thinker who will review the department and implement changes to our services to and communications with artists
  • Have experience of project and relationship management gained in the arts, not for profit or public sector
  • Have the ability to build effective partnerships with communities, artists and other stakeholders
  • Be robust, bring authority and use your initiative to creatively solve problems
  • Have experience of managing and developing a team, which will increase as the organisation grows
  • Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and have the determination to solve problems effectively
