Property Manager

Term of contract: Full time or part time (minimum 4 days a week, negotiable); permanent
Hours: 37.5 hrs p/w (average) worked within core office hours, Mon-Fri with some working time flexibility possible
Salary: £30-32k p/a for full time role, depending on skills and experience
Benefits: Contributory pension, 22 days holiday p/a, plus bank holidays. Car and/or petrol allowance
Reports to: Director, Studios Portfolio
Manages: Caretakers / Site Managers, Assistant Buildings Manager and external contractors
Key internal relationships: Office Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Relationship Manager, Relationship Managers 
Location: 54, Blechynden Street, London W10 6RJ 
Travel: Regular travel to buildings across London, and occasionally to Essex and Stoke-on-Trent

Purpose of role
To support the provision of safe and fit for purpose artists’ studio workspaces and related facilities across the portfolio ACAVA manages.
Manage a planned programme of regular maintenance and repair works to ensure that our properties are in good condition and that buildings, studios and workspaces meet the required health and safety standards.
Project manage and oversee works programmes and keep strict control of related costs, expenditure and overall budgets.
Oversee rigorous and timely adherence to the terms and conditions of leases and insurance agreements.
Maintain excellent standards of written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of all works, reports and compliance on our internal IT systems and keep the Director, Studios Portfolio and other colleagues informed as necessary.
