Regeneration archive.

From its inception in a previously abandoned school in Hammersmith, ACAVA has promoted its value as an agent of regeneration.

During the recession of the early 1990's ACAVA establishes studios in a number of semi-derelict premises and set up associated educational and community projects. With the creation of the Single Regeneration Budget, ACAVA was able to demonstrate the contributions it could make to the SRB's required outputs, and to secure funding from a number of agencies to extend its provision.

The recession of recent times brought new opportunities to contribute to enlivening town centres.
