Valentines Mansion

In 2008/9 ACAVA partnered with Redbridge Council in the creation of artists' studios on the top floor of the 300 year old Grade II* listed Valentines Mansion as part of the extensive Heritage Lottery funded regeneration of the Mansion and Gardens.

The 11 artists occupying the six studios attracted visitors to their open studio days and the exhibitions they mounted in the gallery, sold works made on site in the mansion shop, and contributed greatly to Valentine Mansion's success.

With the transfer of management from Redbridge Council to Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure, restrictions on their budget, and the ending of ACAVA's lease, VRCL took over the studios which continue to flourish.
