Flourish: Retrospective, free family art this half term
To celebrate the past year of our free art programme for North Kensington families, we are revisiting a small selection of workshops with a twist. Come along, have fun with your family and make work for the exhibition at the end of the week, this half term.
Workshops are suitable for 4yrs-11yrs and their parent/carer. All workshops will take place at Maxilla Walk Studios, 4 Maxilla Walk, London, W10 6NQ (the former Children's Centre under the Westway).

Tuesday 23 October
Two hour workshop starts at 2pm
Making Sound
with Clay & Cups and artist Josh Bilton
Explore playful ways to make a sound installation using clay and china cups! The group will select the work to be exhibited at the end of the session.

Wednesday 24 October
Two hour workshop starts at 2pm
Autumnal Light Sculptures
with Rachael Nee & Carolina Rodrigues
Celebrate the new season by creating delicate suspended sculptures combining nature, science and your imagination. The finished pieces will be hung in the gallery space as part of the exhibition.

Thursday 25 October
Two hour workshop starts at 2pm
Dreamcatchers
with Heather Fiona Martin
Originating from Native American culture, some believe dreamcatchers to have protective powers. Create an original dreamcatcher of your very own using hoops, thread, beads, feathers and felt. The finished pieces will be hung in the gallery space as part of the exhibition.

Friday 26 October
Two hour workshop starts at 2pm
Drawing & Dancing
with Light and Ursula Kelly
Have fun moving and drawing using light and photography. The results of your work will be exhibited as part of the show later on in the afternoon.
