West Wednesdays is launching on the 16th June 6.30pm and will be featuring ‘Drawing Into Sculpture’ at Griffin Gallery and ACAVA artists Barbara Nicholls and Epoh Beech

Griffin Gallery and ACAVA are happy to announce the launch of the first summer season of West Wednesdays, a walking art tour of the Latimer Road area of London where we are located. The evening begins at Griffin Gallery, 21 Evesham Street, London, W11 4AJ.

West Wednesdays are an evening of art and conversation that flows between Griffin Gallery and ACAVA’s Blechynden Street studio building. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a curatorial talk by Rebecca Pelly-Fry, director of Griffin Gallery, and a tour of the exhibition ‘Drawing Into Sculpture’. Refreshments will be served and Pelly-Fry will take questions from the group about her curatorial concerns and the artists shown. The tour will then proceed to the ACAVA  Blechynden St Studios artists Barbara Nicholls and Epoch Beech will be giving a special presentation of their work in their studios.

The London Sculpture Workshop will be co-hosting a day-long workshop on June 19th to coincide with 'Drawing Into Sculpture', starting with a drawing session at Griffin Gallery and an afternoon of sculpture at LSW using metal, wood or plaster.  For tickets and more information, click here.
