We are excited to launch our new online platform #ACAVAathome

Find a way to be creative that works for you.

#ACAVAathome is a blog where you’ll find content developed by the teams behind Flourish, Artspace Link, Creativity Clinics, the Grenfell Memorial Mosaic and Maxilla Men’s Shed.

Look out for regular posts including worksheets, tutorials, ideas, hints and tips for ways to create at home using easily accessible materials.

Our blog is organised into three content categories:

#Flourishathome for family focused content uploaded regularly during school holidays

#Creativityclinicathome our art for health and wellbeing content uploaded twice a week

#Maxillashedathome for news and information about Maxilla Mens Shed

We would love to hear from you too. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, please share photos of your creations and work in progress via your preferred platform. If you have a Tumblr account, you can also use that to message us or comment on our posts.

Please remember to tag us and use #ACAVAathome along with the relevant content category hashtag, so we can see and share what you’ve created.

Flourish at Home

This week sees the start of the school holidays, which means it's time to Flourish!

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be a different activity uploaded to #Flourishathome for families to try. These have been planned by some of your favourite Flourish artists. Each activity comes with its own mindfulness exercise to try with your child/ren as a way to focus before you begin the worksheet.

Collaborate to Create a Film

Next week families in North Kensington will have the opportunity to work with animator Sophie Burrows - we want to continue a sense of connectedness during this difficult time, so families will collaborate to animate the same story which has been written by Flourish children.

Sophie has created a series of 'How To'  films so anyone can learn how to make a stop-frame animation at home, no previous experience required! Each participating family will be given a section of the story to animate, these films will then be joined together to create the complete film and uploaded to the blog for us to share and celebrate.

If your family lives in North Kensington and would like to be part of this exciting project, sign up here.
