Support Flourish this #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday takes place on 2 December 2025, offering a moment to come together and support the people and community spaces that matter most.

At ACAVA, we are marking the day by inviting support for Flourish, our free school holiday art programme for families in North Kensington and Wembley.

One parent told us:
“We often think of the children and what they can get out of it, but we forget the parents. I genuinely enjoyed being creative with my child and being outdoors in the garden.”

Their experience reflects the essence of Flourish: creativity, connection, and time together.

About Flourish

Flourish began in 2017 as a one-off eco-art project and has grown into a trusted programme shaped by the needs of local families. Each school holiday, artists lead practical, hands-on sessions that encourage children and parents to experiment with materials, explore their surroundings, and take part in shared creative activities.

The programme is grounded in five core values: Authenticity, Discovery, Exploration, Play and Wellbeing. These values create a nurturing environment where families can take part at their own pace, try new things, and enjoy creative time together without pressure or expectation.

Families consistently describe Flourish as welcoming, supportive, and a space where both children and adults feel able to switch off, make, and enjoy being together.

Why your support matters

Flourish is free to attend, and this relies on the generosity of our supporters. Your contribution helps us keep the programme accessible to families who benefit most, including those with limited financial resources or SEND needs.

Donations make it possible for us to:

  • Offer high-quality creative sessions every school holiday
  • Maintain safe indoor and outdoor spaces for families
  • Work alongside professional artists
  • Provide continuity, routine, and connection for local communities

Every gift, large or small, helps sustain the programme and ensures families can continue to access meaningful, creative experiences.

Take action this #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, it has become a global movement that celebrates generosity in all its forms.

If you’re able to, we invite you to mark Giving Tuesday by supporting Flourish. A regular gift, starting from £5 per month, helps us continue offering free, creative sessions in 2026 and beyond.
