St Charles: Art for Wellbeing Open Studio and Programme Launch

Do you access or deliver health or community services from the St. Charles Centre? Would you like to contribute further to the centre, its environment and community?

Between 3pm and 6pm on Thursday 19th November ACAVA will open the doors of Studio 1, Blechynden St. The event will be an opportunity for people interested in finding out more about our NHS West London Clinical Commissioning Group funded project, 'St Charles: Art for Wellbeing'.
Everyone is welcome, there will be tea, cake and fruit and the opportunity to meet one of the project artists, Aimee Parrott, and have a go at water-colour screen printing.
West London Clinical Commissioning Group will be handing out information on how to stay healthy this winter.
In early 2016 we will be running a programme of four 6 week long workshops where you can work alongside a professional artist to learn art skills and make new art work for permanent display within St. Charles. Places are open to anyone registered with a local GP, or accessing health or community services at the centre. There will also be the opportunity for community and health professionals to participate in the sessions and meet diverse groups of local people, and hold meaningful conversations about services.
Come and meet us, see our art studio and find out more. All welcome.
