Grenfell Memorial Mosaic, Open Community Sessions

The Grenfell Memorial Community Mosaic is a year-long project initiated in May 2018 by ACAVA in partnership with Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre. Each month a different community or faith group, who were instrumental in supporting local people following the aftermath of Grenfell Tower fire, work with ACAVA artist Emily Fuller and local artist Tomomi Yoshida to create a petal to add to the artwork. Click here for further information on the project.

If you are yet to contribute to the mosaic, and would like to do so, you are invited along to ACAVA to help fabricate the final petal with the word “Forever”. This will complete the flower installed at the base of the tower, which will be unveiled on 14 June 2019, marking two years since the tragic fire.

Open Community Sessions:
Thursday 16 May 6pm-8pm
Monday 20 May 10.30am-12.30pm
Tuesday 21 May 3.30pm-5.30pm

Workshops will take place at ACAVA, 54 Blechynden Street, W10 6RJ. No booking required, all welcome and refreshments will be served.
