Flourish: Movement - We are excited to announce our programme of free fun arts activities for North Kensington families, taking place over the forthcoming half term and responding to the theme Movement.

This is a continuation our arts for wellbeing project for those living in W10/W11 directly and indirectly affected by Grenfell Tower fire. Read on for further details and to book your place for any of the activities.

Families are invited to bring a jug or vase from home (we will also have a collection at Maxilla for you to choose from) and join artist Josh Bilton  to 'play' the jugs and vases creating fun harmonies and soundscapes.

Families will also work with Josh and learn how to build clay coil pots based on the shapes of the jugs and vases, each one deviating slightly to create a new form.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 6yrs-12yrs and their carer.

Tuesday 13 February 10am-12pm
Green Hearts for Grenfell with Lisa Nash

To mark both Valentine's Day and 8 months since Grenfell Tower fire, we are inviting families to come along to Maxilla and make a Mini Green Heart for Grenfell. This can either be taken to the Silent Walk on 14th February, or put in a window at home as a mark of solidarity.

No need to book, just turn up - open to all age groups however children must be accompanied by an adult carer.

This workshop is being delivered on behalf of Sophie Lodge and her #24 Hearts project.
