Flourish: Harmony – Creative Fun This Half Term

Free creative fun for North Kensington families this half term.

Responding to the theme Harmony, artists will be running workshops this half term every afternoon 2-4pm at Maxilla Studios. This programme will run from Tuesday 19th February to Friday 22nd February.

Come along to Maxilla Studios with your children and make work with 4 different artists over 4 days. Workshops suitable for 4yrs-11yrs and their parent/carer.

Two hour workshop starts at 2pm

Cuppa-Pillars
with Flora Duley

Let your imagination run wild with an afternoon of designing and building habitats for the imaginary Cuppa-Pillar family, using everyday objects, nature and recycled materials...

Bee-Harmonious
with Camilla Brendon

Learn about the importance of bees in our environment, create beautiful hanging baskets in which to grow bee friendly plants, and decorate using colourful handmade streamers  ...

Thursday 21 February
Two hour workshop starts at 2pm

Kaleidoscopic Spaces
with Nicole Morris

Learn about how our bodies are made up of cells, that change and grow, by using ink and oil to create cell-like patterns. Make DIY kaleidoscopes to examine the cells and transform Maxilla into an immersive cellular space...

Stick Together

Tap in to your sense of fun and sculpt mythical birds from floral foam, then embellish with your own handmade feathers and wings...
