Discretionary funds announced by local authorities

Discretionary funds are being announced by local authorities. Grants are for organisations that have suffered a significant loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic but did not qualify for the Small Business or Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Grant Funds.

These funds have short application windows, some councils intend to close applications once they have received a large number of claims. 

Please check your local council’s website for any updates, criteria and instructions for how to apply.

  • Barking & Dagenham: applications open 12 June, deadline 19 June 
  • Bromley: now open to applications, deadline 23 June 
  • Camden: now open to applications, deadline 19 June 
  • Croydon: now open to applications, deadline 30 June  
  • Enfield: now open to applications, deadline 23 June 
  • Hackney: applications open 12 June, no deadline specified 
  • Havering: now open to applications, no deadline specified  
  • Hillingdon: now open to applications, no deadline specified 
  • Hounslow: now open to applications, no deadline specified 
  • Islington: applications open 12 June, no deadline specified 
  • Kingston: now open to applications, deadline 19 June   
  • Merton: now open to applications, deadline 24 June
