Call for entries for The Secret Postcard Exhibition

The Secret Postcard Exhibition will be held at the Gatehouse Arts Gallery between the 3rd and 29th October.

An auction featuring all works in the show will take place at The Gibberd Gallery on the 4th November with the proceeds reverting towards two registered charities: FOHS&GG (Friends of Harlow Sculpture & Gibberd Gallery) and ACAVA (and educational charity - Association for Cultural Advancement through Visual Art).
This is an opportunity to exhibit your work as part of a fun and international event, with entries usually coming in from Europe, the USA and Canada.
– The artwork must be original (for example the postcards should not be photocopies nor mass produced cards)
– Postcards must be sized 15cmx10cm / 6x4inches
– No signatures on the front
– The artwork can be presented in any medium: painting, photography, mixed media, print, ceramic, or anything else you can imagine!
There is no fee to enter and each artist will be able to submit up to 3 artworks. When submitting please include your name and contact details on the back of the postcard. This will only be revealed when someone buys your postcard. If your postcard is not sold and you wish to have it returned pleased provide a stamped addressed envelope. Any unsold work that is not sent back to the artist will become part of the Gatehouse Arts Gallery archive.
