Call For Applicants: Dorich House Museum Studio Residency 2020

Having successfully piloted their Studio Residency scheme with invited artists Cathie Pilkington in 2018 and Hen Coleman in 2019, Dorich House Museum is excited to be opening this opportunity for artist/makers who are interested in creating work from Gordine’s impressive studio-home over the course of Spring/Summer 2020.

The successful applicant will receive a direct grant of £6,000, plus expenses to cover associated travel, accommodation and production costs, and support from a range of technical facilities across Kingston University. The residency is flexible in form and duration but must take place between February and July 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to discuss a structure for the residency in line with the requirements of their proposal and practice.

The selection panel for this inaugural open-call will comprise: David Falkner (Dorich House Museum & Stanley Picker Gallery Director), Catherine Ince (Chief Curator, V&A East), Charles Irving (Patron) and Cathie Pilkington (Artist RA).
