Alice Boff appointed to ACAVA's Board of Trustees

ACAVA is pleased to announce that Alice Boff has joined our Board of Trustees.

Alice has worked for some of the UK’s leading cultural organisations including the ICA, Saatchi Gallery, Artangel and the Royal Academy of Arts. She was part of the team that conceived and delivered the award-winning 14-18 NOW programme, connecting people with the First World War, working in partnership with heritage and arts organisations across the UK to commission artists including Rachel Maclean, Jeremy Deller and John Akomfrah.

Alice Boff said:

"I’m delighted to be joining ACAVA and look forward to working with the team and fellow Trustees to ensure artists and communities have the space to come together to make, create and inspire. As we look to recover from the impact of the pandemic it is clear that artists will play a central role in reinvigorating our cities and communities - ACAVA is an important piece of that puzzle."

Tom Holley, ACAVA's CEO said:

"It is with great pleasure and anticipation that we welcome Alice Boff to our board. Her considerable experience in the arts and her expertise in development and fundraising significantly strengthen the board at this critical time for the sector. I very much look forward to working closely with Alice in the coming months and years."

For the past 12 months, Alice has been leading Development at the Institute of Contemporary Arts; she will soon move on to the role of Head of Development at RADA. Alice is also Treasurer of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s Culture Sector Network.
