ActionSpace are looking for volunteers

ActionSpace are looking for volunteers to assist and support projects and studio sessions.

ActionSpace is a London based visual arts organisation and charity. They support artists with learning disabilities and create innovative projects for people with learning disabilities to engage with the visual arts. They have studios across London (East, West, North & South) and ongoing partnership projects with organisations like Royal Academy, Camden Arts Centre & Tate Exchange.

What ActionSpace volunteers do:

Volunteers are important and crucial to ActionSpace as they support their studio project programmes. Project Support Volunteers ensure weekly projects meet the needs of artists. They assist the Artist Facilitators of the workshops, who support the artists in developing their individual creative practices.

ActionSpace look for volunteers who bring with them new ideas, skills and an outside eye as well as their own creativity, energy and sensitivity. In return, you receive training and personal development that will enable you to explore employment opportunities within the sector. ActionSpace aim to offer their volunteers new opportunities such as running open studios and curating online exhibitions.
