Spheres of Influence Exhibition at Central Space Gallery

The Royal College of Art Systems Research Group presents their exhibition Spheres of Influence.

Spheres of Influence is an exhibition by the SRG which uses the Bloch sphere from quantum physics as a starting point for new work. Artists Dr Libby Heaney, Charlotte Jarvis, Daria Jelonek, Emilie Loiseleur, Anna Ridler, Georgia Ward Dyer and Caroline Yan Zheng apply systems methods to topics including romance, emotion, consciousness, language and pollution.
The SRG is part of Information Experience Design at RCA. Let by IED Tutor Dr Libby Heaney, it looks at new creative possibilities of systems thinking and methods through artistic practice-based research. Exploring the idea that any phenomenon can be investigated as a system, or part of a system, the group takes models from science to inspire stem methodologies in art and design practice.
