Never let me go

On the occasion of the publication of Charles Williams’s article 'Never Let Me Go – Still life in the paintings of Tori and Charlie Day'*, 'Never let me go' is an exhibition of still life paintings by Charles Williams and wife and husband team Tori and Charlie Day (also managers of Studio One Gallery).

Their paintings are elegies; they are searching in the rubble of a tradition for something, anything; they bring out small trophies, souvenirs, scraps of songs, hold them up. This? Or this?
