Monthly gardening sessions at Maxilla Walk Studios to grow, mend and connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming space.
Garden Tinkering Mondays is a new monthly gardening session held in the garden at ACAVA’s Maxilla Walk Studios in North Kensington.
These relaxed, friendly sessions invite you to spend time outdoors, slow down, and reconnect through gardening. Led by the experienced gardeners from our Cultivate Create programme, each session is a space to dig, grow, mend and potter at your own pace.
What to expect:
- Free, drop-in gardening sessions
- Tools and refreshments provided
- Friendly support from our Cultivate Create gardeners
- All welcome, no experience needed
Dates and times:
Sessions run once a month on the second Monday of each month, from 11am to 3pm.

About the programme
Garden Tinkering Mondays is a new offshoot of our Tinkering Sessions at Maxilla Men’s Shed, a community makerspace open to people of all genders. The Shed offers a space to create, repair and connect through hands-on projects every Tuesday and Wednesday. Now, with this new outdoor strand, we’re bringing that same spirit into the garden on a Monday once a month, supported by our Cultivate Create team.
Come along and enjoy time outside with your local community. No booking needed, just turn up.
