St Charles Art Commission 2014/15

In Autumn 2014 ACAVA was commissioned by NHS West London Clinical Commissioning Group to create arts works for permanent display within the St Charles Centre for Health and Wellbeing, through collaborative participation between professional artists and local people.

The project delivered two distinct bodies of work. The first a triptych of large glass mosaics, by a group led by artist Emily Fuller, are now hung in the main entrance and reception of the St Charles Centre. The second, by a group of young people led by artist Paula Roush, created a series of photo books detailing architectural details of the grade II listed building, which were recorded by Roush through photographic images and a newspaper publication.

The project was supported by the following organisations: Age UK, Al-Hasaniya, Dalgarno Trust, Living Well CIC, Open Age, Pembridge Palliative Care Unit, St Charles Community 6th Form College.
