Art for Wellbeing Everyday

Update 17 March 2020:
The AWE programme produced 9 'How To' Guides, the Covid-19 pandemic has suspended the distribution of the hard copy guides locally, however they can be accessed via our online portal developed in response to the crisis #ACAVAathome

Starting in 2018, Art for Wellbeing: Everyday (AWE) is a two year long project that provides the opportunity for local people to work with professional artists, and to learn a range of visual arts skills. Each new skill will be taught over 6 sessions at our Blechynden St Studio in W10.

Places are free for participants to attend, all we ask for in return is their feedback. This then helps us create a 'how to guide' for the skill learnt, so other local people can try out the same activity at home with their family or friends.

The guides will be launched in December 2019, in hard copy and PDF, covering the range of skills taught during the programme including Paper Sculpture, Mosaics, Ink Drawing and Basketry.

Further information on our 2018 programme can be found here. Current activities for 2019 can be found here

Our Art for Wellbeing projects are funded by NHS West London Clinical Commissioning Group (WLCCG).
