Description
RBKC are looking for two Exhibition Curation Assistants to work with the Arts Service team at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in supporting the Exhibition Curator in all aspects of preparing and installing artworks for the Schools Art on Show exhibition at the Tabernacle in June.
 
Based at the Council Offices, 37 Pembroke Road, London W8 6PW.
 
Organisation Description
Art on Show is an annual competition and exhibition organised by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Arts Service. It celebrates work produced within schools in the borough, and aims to encourage children and young people to pursue and develop their interests and talents in art. Art on Show is open for submissions in a range of mediums from all schools and colleges in the Royal Borough for students aged 3 to 18 years, with shortlisted artworks exhibited at the Tabernacle from 15 June to 9 July 2017, with certificates and cash prizes sponsored by local art galleries awarded by the Mayor at a ceremony on Thursday 15 June. In 2017, Art on Show forms part of the InTRANSIT Festival of Arts programme.
 
When Required
2 days a week from Thursday 25 May to Thursday 15 June 2017 (and for one day only on Sunday 9 July)
To be available on the prize-giving day at the Tabernacle on Thursday 15 June
To be available for the exhibition take down on Sunday 9 July
