Venture Photography.

In September 2016 two new 10-week photography projects have started at the Venture Centre.

Denise Semple, who leads Pace Photography, has said of her project "Pace Photography is for anyone interested in walking, photos, local history, making friends and fun! All skills levels are welcome. We started this group to meet people who enjoy strolling, selfies and sharing stories. Looking forward to exploring the Golborne area and taking pictures with you".”

paula roush, who teaches photobook publishing at the School of Art and Creative Industries at the London South Bank University, led a 10 week Photobook Project addressing time, place, memory and a sense of history through walking and photographing the Golborne area.

The results of these projects have been displayed at an exhibition at ACAVA’s Maxilla Walk Studios.

Both projects were funded by RBKC through Public Health and are a partnership between the Venture Community Association and ACAVA. More projects will be delivered in 2017, keep an eye on this website for more information, or email iniven@acava.org to be added to the project mailing list.
